Questions that should be discussed with others arise time and again both in the development of geo information systems and geoservices and in the use of geodata. A discussion in which all stakeholders should participate, data providers and users, public authorities and private individuals. The Swiss Organisation for Geographic Information SOGI, the Conference of Cantonal Geodata and Cadastre Offices CGC and the GIS Coordination of the Confederation KOGIS are therefore jointly operating an Internet discussion forum (www.geowebforum.ch). The aim is to provide broad information and discussion on all topics relating to geoinformation and geoinformation systems.
